to get to the unknown unspoken unseen that is past desperation?

I'll trade you
but you have to take me up on it right away
before I change my mind

I'll trade you
the burning
and the bursting
the twisting frustration

for the way you hold your mouth
the way you shake your ass
and the way you slouch down in that chair

I'll lay it all down for you
I'll lay it all out
so that the unknown is known
and the unspoken shouted
and the unseen revealed

and we're both not so desperate anymore

slow dissolve with our four hands joined
and the past in the far distance
